2014 CMD COMMEMORATIONS
The 20th anniversary of the heroic death of Captain Mbaye Diagne in Rwanda was commemorated in Dakar on 31 May 2014, through a ceremony organized by the Association of Captain Mbaye Diagne for the Culture of Peace in partnership with the Regional Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations.
The BBC film ‘A Good Man in Rwanda’ VIDEO was screened for the first time in Senegal, and in the presence of the Rwandan Embassy officials.
The Rwandan singer Manu Ragabo sang the song ‘African Hero’ he dedicated to the Captain.
